On 20 March 2017, the Board of Directors of KGHM International Ltd. appointed Robert Nowak to the position of President & Chief Executive Officer of KGHM International Ltd.
Robert Nowak has many years of professional experience in management. Among others he has served as Vice President of the Management Board for Trade, Marketing and Hedging in KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. (October 2004 – June 2006), Vice President of the Management Board for Finance in PeBeKa S.A. (October 2013 - January 2015) and Deputy Project Manager in the Victoria project (January 2015 – May 2016).
Robert Nowak replaces Robert J. MacDonald, who until now has carried out the duties of President & Chief Executive Officer of KGHM International Ltd.
KGHM International Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., with mining assets in Canada, the USA and Chile (including 55 percent of the Chilean mine Sierra Gorda).
